The Secret Life of Words
A beautiful movie... Can't say much about it without giving away the plot. Let me just say its about two people brought together at a very difficuilt time in their lives - and difficuilt is probably an understatement. A coincidence I just can't resist to mention... This was sometime ago, when I was still studying. I was browsing in the University bookstore - I love browsing in bookstores and libraries. I came across this book called `Ways of Seeing` by John Berger. It was quite a thin book and it was quite a price for a book as thin as it was... But I found the title really interesting. I ended up buying it. It was an interesting book. I never completed that book. It was never meant to be read like a regular book, 'cause it was such a unique collage of photos and text. But then the coincidence... The book appears in several scenes in the movie... And the director ends up acknowledging the book in the end. No! Don't worry! I haven't given up any part of the plot. But this was something I just had to say...
